Has anyone recently installed a louvered or smart pergola for their backyard or patio? 🌤️
I’m trying to better understand pergola costs and what affects the final price the most — size, motorized roof systems, lighting, customization, materials, etc.

Are smart pergolas really worth the extra investment compared to standard models? I’d also love to hear recommendations for companies that offer good quality and fair pricing for customized pergola solutions.

We recently installed a smart pergola from Lousol https://www.aluminumpergola.ca/pergola-cost/ and it was definitely worth it 👍
The final cost mostly depended on the size, motorized louvers, LED lighting, and additional side screens. Smart features add to the price, but the comfort and convenience are amazing, especially for changing weather conditions.
