Had a weird one pop up on my 2016 MKZ this morning when I went to start it up for the drive from Al Taawun over to my office and instead of the usual blast of cold air I just got a faint clicking noise from behind the dash and absolutely nothing from the vents, no fan speed nothing, and I’m standing there in the parking garage already sweating through my shirt trying to figure out if I should just call in sick and deal with it later or if it’s something simple like a blown fuse or a dead blower motor resistor because I refuse to believe the whole system just packed up overnight without any warning signs. I’ve had AC issues before on other cars but this one’s different, the compressor clutch engages fine when I jump it and the refrigerant pressures look okay with the basic gauge I have so I’m leaning toward it being an electrical gremlin in the HVAC control module or maybe that stupid blend door actuator that these Fords are famous for eating, but I’m not about to start tearing apart the dash myself and making things worse because I know my limits and interior trim clips are my mortal enemy. Started asking around for a Sharjah Lincoln AC Service Workshop Experts because I figured someone who deals with these cars regularly has probably seen this exact issue a hundred times and can tell me in five minutes if it’s a cheap fix or if I should start mentally preparing for a big bill, just want to find a place that won’t charge me for a full system diagnosis when it’s probably just a relay that gave up in the heat. Anyone else had their MKZ or Fusion AC just go completely dead like this with nothing but a click, and was it the blower motor or something deeper in the dash I should be worried about.
