Huracan brake job in Dubai, independent shop vs dealer and why I’m never going back to the dealer

Just picked up my 2018 Huracan LP610 from a specialist in Al Quoz yesterday after getting the front pads and rotors done and I’m genuinely still buzzing about how smooth the whole thing went compared to the absolute fiasco I endured at the main dealer last year when they had my car for three weeks just to do a brake fluid flush and somehow managed to scratch the yellow caliper paint and then denied it was them. This time around a friend with a 488 told me to visit this page he used when he was hunting for a place that stocks the proper Pagid pads and doesn’t treat your car like it’s just another VW in the bay and honestly the difference in care was night and day, the mechanic knew exactly which torque spec applied to the carbon ceramic bolts and he even showed me the old pad measurements before binning them so I knew I wasn’t being taken for a ride. They had the factory diagnostic tool to reset the service reminder and retract the parking brake properly and the car stops like it’s fresh off the boat from Sant’Agata again with zero squeal and the pedal feels so much more confidence inspiring. I don’t know why I ever thought the dealer was the only safe option for a car like this when there are guys in this city who genuinely love these machines and treat them with more respect than the minimum wage apprentice at the official center ever would.
