    Hi everyone 👋

I’m currently researching EGR delete and repair kits and wanted to get some real-world feedback.

Has anyone here used an EGR delete kit instead of repairing or replacing the EGR valve? Did you notice any improvements in engine performance, fuel economy, or reliability?

Also, for those who chose repair kits instead — how long did the fix last, and was it worth it compared to a full replacement?

Would appreciate any recommendations on reliable brands or kits and any pros/cons you’ve experienced. Thanks in advance! 🚗

    Hi)))

I’ve had experience with both options. EGR delete can improve throttle response and reduce soot buildup, but keep in mind it’s not always legal depending on your region and can cause issues with inspections.

As for repair kits, I’ve used ones from Klifex https://klifex.net/collections/egr-removal-kits — pretty solid quality. If the valve isn’t too worn, a good kit can extend its life for quite a while and is definitely more cost-effective than full replacement.

Overall, if you want a safer and more compliant solution, I’d go with a repair kit.
