I’m looking for advice about persistent water issues around my roofline. Over the past few months I’ve noticed dripping during heavy rain, peeling paint near the fascia, and small puddles forming along the foundation.
I suspect a leaky eavestrough may be the root cause, but I’m not sure whether the problem is due to loose joints, clogging, improper slope, or winter ice damage. What steps should I take to diagnose the exact source of the leak?
Are sealants effective, or is replacement usually the better long term fix? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for insights.
